since I allowed vista to install the patches kb954459 kb955069 kb957097 no games are working anymore like team fortress 2 / half life 2/ call of duty 4, and this happens on a brand new Dell XPS 420 (got it 2 weeks ago)- I installed no programs except office, Winamp, vlc and these games. Starting Call of duty after the updates caused a blue screen … Maybe this has to do with ATI drivers but anyway, since it’s a clean system I don’t feel responsible in any way … maybe I should have bought a XBOX and a new TV ..

UPDATE: Windows not responsible – seems that after this short amount of time the RAM got defective … so I have to wait for new Ram from Dell now …
